Grant Miller loves Tennessee mountain real estate with its grand bluff views, waterfalls and natural, bio-diverse canyons. He enthusiastically describes the community he is developing on Sewanee Creek as eco-friendly, green, self-sustaining, intelligent and "provident".

He recently "retired" from a 30-year career as an international food service chain executive. After moving to the mountain, he says that he has never worked harder or enjoyed life more. In the process, he has lost 25 pounds and re-gained about 30 years of life. Post-Corporate life on the mountain is good.

As former President of the International Divisions of Dunkin' Donuts, Baskin-Robbins and Papa John's, Grant was instrumental in the international development of these chains as well as Blockbuster Video, 7-Eleven, IHOP, and others. He has worked in over fifty countries, overseeing over 3,700 restaurants, speaks fluent Japanese and holds a Master's Degree in International Management from #1 rated Thunderbird Graduate School of Global Management.

His experience with and love for people, cultures and places around the globe were instrumental in developing his unique philosophy on the development of a healthy, intelligent community in harmony with people and nature. He is also in the process of re-connecting with his early roots as a jazz saxophonist. One of his passions is the awesome amphitheater that he is building nestled in a natural hollow with a stunning bluff view. The amphitheater and pavilion will serve as a multi-purpose cultural hub of the community.
